Purpose: The singles of the Lighthouse are currently serving in many

different aspects and ministries of Lighthouse during the Sunday school

hour - from bus routes, children's Sunday schools, and many other areas of

ministry within the other adult Sunday school classes. To provide another

opportunity for singles to study and fellowship together, we started our

Saturday Bible Study.

The Saturday Bible Study is a time of study where the singles can get

together around the Word of God in a relaxed atmosphere.  It is our

desire to see the singles of Lighthouse grow and mature in their spiritual

walks, and to unify the singles of Lighthouse Baptist Church. It is during this

time of study that we have been able to have guest preachers in and

expound the word of God, whereas during the Sunday school hour they are

engaged in areas that wouldn't allow them to get away as freely. 

It is also our desire to create an atmosphere that is relaxed and focused on the Word of God - where there is no ulterior motives, or hidden agendas, just to simply teach the Word of God.  Our vision is to teach and show the practical truths from the Word of God that we can apply to our daily lives.

This Bible Study is also a place in which the singles have an opportunity to serve the Lord.
